Urfer Trucking changes oil in their trucks every 60,000 miles. This million mile diesel engine teardown features a 550 horsepower C-15 Caterpillar diesel engine with 1,055,000 miles and all original parts. Schaeffer's Supreme 7000 diesel oil was the only oil used.
The cleanliness and minimal wear on this engine is a great example of the high-quality base oil and detergency of Schaeffer Oil. Watch the video to see the full teardown.
When company owner Tim Thompson's 2005 John Deere 544J Wheeled Loader began experiencing problems with its mast, Tim disassembled the mast assembly for repairs. It was the first time it had been removed since leaving the factory where it was assembled.
In the process, Tim and his crew were able to inspect the pins and bushings in order to evaluate the performance of Schaeffer's grease. What they saw was almost too good to be true: the factory original pins and bushings--with over 23,000 hours on them--showed almost no signs of wear.
See the amazing results of a 2007 Timbco teardown with over 9,000 hours on the hydraulic pumps after running exclusively on Schaeffer's Hydraulic Fluid.
SynForce Green Grease was put to the test in the chopper bearing of a Case combines to see how it could handle temperatures. After running for a few days, thermal imaging showed a 20 degree drop in bearing temperature compared to the bearing serviced with a leading grease.
