Chris and Debbie Karlberg own five NAPA stores in various towns in Montana. Their anchor is a large modern store in Kalispell. Other retail locations include Columbia Falls (the gateway to Glacier National Park), Whitefish, South Kalispell, and NAPA's Flagship Heavy-Duty Truck outlet.
Chris had been looking to carry an upscale boutique oil company's product lines to be able to offer beyond the ordinary experience for his customers. It had been over a year since Chris had seen a sales person from one of the many oil companies he represented until Glenn Kaczmar came through his door. After seeing Glenn's live demonstration with the Timken Friction Bearing Machine, the decision was made to begin to carry a full line of Schaeffer products. These stores are now the "Go-To'" places for a thriving Schaeffer clientele. How thrilled he is to now have Glenn Kaczmar from Schaeffer Oil visit every couple of weeks to train his personnel and to answer questions for customers. Over the past eight years, Glenn, Schaeffer Oil, and Chris and Debbie have worked closely on annual car shows and customer appreciation days. They have witnessed the continued growth of a loyal following of Schaeffer users.
Whitefish, Montana is home to the second largest ski resort in the state. It is a premiere destination for skiers from around the world. Whitefish is also, a jumping off point for visitors to Glacier National Park, Whitefish Lake, and Flathead Lake.
Vernon Fox, the manager at the Whitefish NAPA, had been looking for a new experience in providing upscale lubricants to his clientele. Meeting Glenn Kaczmar and viewing the Timken Bearing Machine presentation was all it took to recognize how good it would be to partner with Schaeffer Oil. Scott Lee is the Fleet Maintenance Director for Fun Beverage, the top beer, wine, and soft drink distributor in the Kalispell area.
